The winners, finalists and judges of the competition are published in the May edition of SRQ Magazine in a special awards section. This event is a way to meet like-minded professionals, make valuable connections and get straight to your most burning questions about career and personal development.
Each participant will be paired with several mentors for mini-sessions. Lasting from minutes, each mini-session is unstructured, allowing for conversation, guidance and direction from each mentor.

Perales lives in Sarasota with her photographer husband, Daniel Perales and their two children, Kique, 12and Lucia, She believes we witness the height of human flourishing when those values are integrated and she actualizes that belief in both her paid and unpaid roles.
A former president of the Junior League and organizer for Honor Flight, Britt has manifested her commitment to civic engagement and continues to do so as the Board Chair of the Education Foundation of Sarasota County. A graduate of Sarasota public schools and the recipient of a Bill and Melinda Gates undergraduate scholarship, Britt knows the pivotal effect a great education and strategic philanthropy can play in the life of a child.
Though she holds degrees from Duke and Stanford Universities, her greatest accomplishment is the day-to-day experience of learning how to love well her husband and two children, lean into Liber, and stretch out her hands in service to Sarasota — simultaneously.
Later, she graduated from the University of Central Florida on an academic scholarship, and went on to travel across Europe and live in Germany.

Lulu has a deep commitment to her community, the military and law enforcement. She is an experienced administrator and clinician with over 35 years experience in infant mental health, emotional and behavioral disturbance in children, and fetal alcohol and drug effects.
She has served as CEO of a not-for-profit child serving agency for infants and young children with vulnerabilities, providing an array of prevention and intervention services.
As agency COO, was instrumental in working with local and state government and private foundations to build sustainable systems of care for young children with mental health and fetal alcohol related problems, thus expanding agency services statewide.
She developed two fetal alcohol diagnostic clinics in the country and is a national trainer on this topic. She has directed one of three infant mental health pilot projects in the state of Florida and developed a crosswalk from the DC:Ever-Green Energy’s Jemne Building focuses on occupant well being and indoor air quality.
